Job Description

We’re looking for a savvy marketing intern to help formulate and execute marketing and PR strategy to promote our mission to eliminate the guesswork from drug development. You will join the dynamic and agile team of scientists developing next-generation approaches for drug development in oncology and other deadly diseases. This position offers a chance to work side-by-side with the leadership team and gain industry knowledge through research and interactions with regional national, and international customers. In addition, this position offers potential for future full time employment.

Responsibilities (with assistance from the executive team)

  • Assist in defining marketing, sales, and PR strategy with measurable outcomes
  • Set-up and run email marketing campaign and measure its efficacy
  • Develop and update marketing materials and write press releases
  • Help organize marketing events
  • Establish our social media presence
  • Generate new leads and follow-up with potential and current customers

About You

  • Organized, creative, and independent with a passion for our mission
  • Excited to take ownership of various marketing projects
  • Enjoy writing, research, and data analysis
  • Motivated by the fast-paced environment of a start-up that requires multitasking and great attention to detail

Requirements

  • A four-year degree (or pursuing) in Business Development, Marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of graphics software packages is a plus)
  • Understanding of marketing concepts
  • Ability to work on and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in social media communications (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Previous email marketing and lead generation experience is an asset

Job Description

Founded on the principle that cures for human diseases require human-specific drug testing platforms, zPREDICTA has created Reconstructed Organ (r-Organ) technology that recreates the physical environment of human organs and mimics the conditions caused by disease.

You will join a dynamic and agile team of scientists developing next-generation preclinical models for immunology and oncology indications. You will be responsible for the development of novel organ-specific models and validation of organ-specific microenvironments on primary human cells from tumor and healthy tissues. You have to be excited by the fast-paced environment of a start-up and possess a versatile set of technical skills.

Requirements

Education

The successful candidate will have a minimum of B.S./B.A. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline with at least 2 years of experience in industry or academia or M.S./M.A. with a thesis project focusing on immunology, cancer biology, or another area of cell biology. Start-up experience is strongly preferred.

Experience

This position requires proficiency in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and drug screening assays. Experience in 3D cell culture, primary mammalian cell culture, fluorescence microscopy, assay development/validation/QA/QC, and liquid handling automation is a definite plus. If you have these skills and are organized, driven, curious, and independent, and thrive in a fast-paced environment we’d love to talk to you.
