Dr. Reckamp is a board certified medical oncologist with over 10 years of experience treating lung cancer. She is the the Medical Director of the Clinical Research program and a co-Director of the Lung Cancer and Thoracic Oncology Program at the City of Hope National Medical Center. Dr. Reckamp is a recognized leader in clinical research in lung cancer and is a recipient of ASCO Leadership Development Award. A member of the City of Hope team since 2007, Dr. Reckamp is heavily involved in clinical trials aimed at finding new and better treatments for lung cancer, especially in the most advanced and difficult-to-treat cases. Recently she led a study demonstrating the significant benefits of immunotherapy.
